2011A series of photographs, exploring the ideas of political and personal meaning of home, belonging and violence.
Landscape here is regarded as a representation of the past, the notion of romantic ruins and the sabotage of the sentimentality. The images were taken in Moscow city and, through submerging semi-transparent acetate prints in water, plunged, deteriorated, and disappeared.
